Our Story

A Galloway Tradition
Built on the Water

S & W Bait Shop has been a fixture in Galloway for over a decade, serving anglers who value fresh bait, honest advice, and a shop that actually stocks what works on local waters.

Whether you're pulling up to Blacklick Creek at dawn for smallmouth, casting the Scioto for bass, or teaching your kid to fish at a nearby pond, we've got the bait, the gear, and the know-how to make your trip count. We're not a big-box store — we're your neighbors, and we care about your catch.

Why Choose Us

The Angler's First Choice

Bait That Stays Alive

We rotate our live bait daily and keep conditions right — you won't find sluggish or spent bait on our shelves.

Know Your Local Waters

We fish these lakes and rivers ourselves. When you ask what's biting, you get an answer from someone who's out there.

Fair Prices, No Surprises

Competitive pricing on bait and tackle — we'd rather earn your repeat business than overcharge for a quick sale.

A Community Hub

S & W Bait Shop is more than a store — it's where anglers swap stories, share tips, and connect over a shared love of the water.

What Anglers Say

"Best bait shop in the area, hands down. The minnows are always fresh and the guys behind the counter actually know what they're talking about. I drive past a few others just to stop here."
